LEVEL UP

Is it time to LEVEL UP your eCommerce website?

In digital games, leveling up happens when you get better at what you do. You earn experience points (XP), and when you are skilled enough, you get to level up. It's a good feeling. Everyone wants to level up.

With anaZana, our tier pricing can be thought of as leveling up. For instance, you start off with a self-made eCommerce website, and sell your service or product, and become more successful. At some point, you are going to want to level up.

There are two ways to level up with anaZana. The first is to purchase a higher monthly payment tier. (NOTE: As of this writing, our payment tier is under construction, and will be released soon). Here is an example of one of our competitor's pricing tier structure...

One competitor's pricing tier structure

As we roll our our pricing tier over the next few weeks, the Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond levels will also be lower, with the Diamond level (or whatever we decide to call it :)

A savings of $1330+ per year. Think about that. That's money in your profit margin!

So when it's time to level up (and if you are in business, that time will come sooner or later), level up with anaZana, and save!

The second way is to hire our professional web-designers to make an improved site. Image is everything on the Net, and you want to be 'dressed' as well as possible to make a good impression. Yes, you can start quite well with a free site that you design. No, you cannot grow forever on your own efforts, unless you happen to be a professional web-designer, keeping up with the latest web technologies which are rapidly evolving.

Gamification elements in anaZana

Gamification for anaZana eCommerce websites

Gamification is the use of game elements within a non-game environment. Such elements are used for the benefit of anaZana users, increasing engagement, fun, and learning. AnaZana will never use gamification elements in an unethical fashion. Any benefits to anaZana will be a byproduct of benefits for the end-user.

Such elements include points, badges, social networking, and leader-boards. The international leader-board used in this blog is an example of a simple gamification element. Gamification elements within anaZana are currently under construction.

Augmented reality and eCommerce

What is augmented reality, and why does it matter?

Irina Strilets says:

"Augmented reality can enrich the overall content of an e-commerce website, which will increase a customer’s engagement and promote the company’s brand identity". I tend to agree, and from my epistomological perspective, engagement brings to mind gamification.

So while the experts generally agree augmented reality will be an influence in eCommerce, how this unfolds is anyone's guess.

ECommerce by definition is virtual, so strictly speaking, I don't see how eCommerce can be influenced by augmented reality... except for the crossover point when you leave the computerized virtual world to go see a therapist in the real world, someone you found on an eCommerce site. Augmented reality might show you some interesting trivia about the area where the therapist has the office, that's about it.

It seems to me that if augmented reality and gamification are viewed as a spectrum, then the concept that applies to eCommerce the most is skewed towards gamification, not augmented reality.

If anyone can think of a valid eCommerce functionality that augmented reality would have in the real world cross-over space from virtual reality to reality, please enlighten me, I'd love to know. Thanks...
